Corporate Social Responsibility
GOODLUCK FOR C.S.R
The programme and policy initiatives like Sarva Shikha Abhiyan (SSA) and Right to Education (RTE) have contributed to a new vibrancy, meaning and urgency in the country’s efforts to universalize education, in the years to come.
India still has close to 21 million children out of school, and has the largest number of uneducated population. Millions of under privileged never set foot in school. As per the statistics, 4% never start school out of which 35% are with disability.
The onus does not lie only on the government. It’s high time that the privileged people and the organisations recognise their responsibility towards upliftment of the society and join hands.
We, at Good Luck Publishers realise that we have to pitch in as much we can. Since we are in the field of publishing academics books, we feel it’s an honour for us to be able to contribute in the education sector. It is a pleasure to be able to provide free textbooks* to help the underprivileged and disabled children with their education.
Sashakt is working towards nurturing underprivileged, differently able and special children. We take afternoon classes of children who study in government schools to help them improve in Academics.Beyond Academics we do extracurricular activities like Arts & Crafts, Music, and Dance etc.We aim to instil self worth and value system in the children. We also run speech therapy and physiotherapy classes for those who require the same.
